Among some diseases spreading very fast through out the world, colon cancer is perhaps in the top of the list. In US specially, one among each 17 persons is affected by it. Men below 40 are more prone to this. The longest part of the large intestine is commonly known as colon. It starts from small intestine and ends at the anus. This 4ft. long muscular organ helps to digest and absorb the food nutrients, solidify the fecal matters by extracting the salt as well as water from it. It also continues the process of storing and controlling of the bowel extraction properly. Cancer in Colon disrupts this procedure. It does not show any severe problem at the beginning all the time and so, remains as a silent killer in the body.

It is often called as colorectal cancer as in most of the cases rectum is associated and affected by it. Rectal bleeding and bleeding hemorrhoids are the basic Colon Cancer Symptoms but often neglected as normal health problem. The symptoms continue undiagnosed for 14 weeks in maximum. Rectal bleeding may result in acute anemia and thus fatigue. As the cancer grows, colon becomes disrupted and blocked. Their could be intolerable pain in the rectum during the excretion of bowel. An unclear and narrow shaped bowel with the feeling of dissatisfaction may also accompany with pain. The cancer often comes forward with an abnormal weight loss but swelling and distension of belly. There is no relation between the Colon Cancer Symptoms and the stage of cancer. Abdominal pain with heavy rectal bleeding and vomiting along with perforated and frequent bowel could be alarming symptoms and need emergency hospitalization. So it is better to not to neglect, if any of the symptoms comes forward.
